CardioTrainer will be back soon, don’t worry!

Monday, September 26th, 2011

If you have tried to update CardioTrainer in the past few days, you might have seen a message telling you the application wasn’t “available in your country,” or you might not have been able to find it when searching on the Android Market. Where did CardioTrainer go?

Last week, one of our partner companies inadvertently filed some legal documentation that resulted in CardioTrainer being removed from the Android Market. This wasn’t at all intentional, and we have already been in contact with both Google and this partner company to get everything back to normal.

Don’t worry, WorkSmart Labs is still fully supporting CardioTrainer, and the application will be available for download and updating again on the Market very soon. Until then, you can use the following link to download CardioTrainer directly (if you’re prompted to allow installation from 3rd parties, go ahead and accept): bit.ly/ctdownload.

Thank you for your understanding, we’re so sorry again for the trouble. We will update everyone as soon as we have more news.

All the best,

CardioTrainer v3.5.3: Editing workouts and updated music integration

Friday, April 1st, 2011

We just released CardioTrainer v3.5.3. to the Android Market, and we’re really happy to announce that there are two notable improvements, in addition to lots of smaller bug fixes.

Updated Music Integration

If you’ve been using a device running Android 2.3 (aka Gingerbread) or a Samsung device, you probably noticed the message in CardioTrainer’s settings that said music integration was incompatible with your device. This latest release includes a custom music player that should solve these issues. Please let us know if you’re having any more problems with the music after you install!

Editing Workouts

Have you been in the situation where you finished a workout and wanted to tweak the stats CardioTrainer reported? Maybe increase the calorie burn or distance traveled? You can now edit all of your workout information by selecting a track from your workout history, clicking “stats,” and then clicking “Edit workout.”

There are some other smaller bug fixes included in this release and some UI tweaks. Let us know what you think!

All the best,
